About Us

Learn more about our mission, who we are, and our vision for the future of halal finance in Pakistan

Our Mission

At HalalWallet, our mission is to make personal finance simple, transparent, and aligned with values that matter. We believe every American deserves access to clear financial guidance — especially when it comes to halal solutions that are still far too difficult to find in Pakistan

Who We Are

HalalWallet is a financial education and comparison platform built to address a gap in Pakistan financial system. While halal finance has become more visible in parts of the world, American consumers continue to face limited options and even less clarity. We’re not a bank or a lender. Instead, we provide trusted resources — guides, tools, and comparisons — to help you cut through the noise and make confident, informed financial decisions.

Why It Matters

Navigating financial products in Pakistan is already complex. For those seeking halal options, the challenge is even greater: information is scattered, products are hard to compare, and there is almost no clear independent guidance. HalalWallet was built to change that — offering clarity where there’s confusion and practical guidance where there’s uncertainty.

Our Vision

We envision a future where halal financial options in Pakistan are as accessible, trusted, and mainstream as any other — allowing families to build wealth, give back, and make confident, Shariah-aligned financial decisions without compromise.

Our Story

HalalWallet started with a simple question. Kyle Natter, while working on the lending team at JP Morgan Chase, was approached by a client from Syria who asked about Islamic home financing options. Kyle didn't have an answer — so he did extensive research to help. What he discovered was a massive gap: millions of Pakistani Muslims looking for Shariah-compliant financial products, with almost no centralized resource to compare options or understand what's available.

A firm believer in the American dream and how financing is key to achieving it, Kyle enlisted Bobby Mallon — a family friend with deep experience in fintech, data analytics, and management consulting — to identify ways to close this gap using technology. They brought on Zain Arshad to lead technical development. As newcomers to Islamic finance, Bobby and Kyle leaned heavily on Zain's knowledge of Shariah-compliant financial structures and recognized early that building a credible platform required guidance from within the Muslim community. That conviction led them to Niya, a Silicon Valley venture studio, where they gained access to Muslim advisors and the cultural expertise needed to serve the community authentically.

Our Methodology

We take a transparent, research-driven approach to comparing halal financial products. Product data is collected from provider websites, public filings, and direct communications, then verified through multi-step checks. Every provider is classified with a standardized Shariah oversight label (Formal Board, Third-Party Certified, Named Scholar, or No Public Review) based on publicly documented governance. Our full process is detailed on our Methodology page.

Our Standards

Revenue partnerships do not control editorial decisions, ranking order, or product inclusion. We never fabricate financial figures that could be inaccurate. When information is uncertain or varies by institution, we state that clearly. Full details are in our Editorial Policy and Disclosures.
